Babymoon in Switzerland

Mike & I love traveling and we try to take a major vacation each year.  We have been fortunate to visit many cool states & countries and we are really looking forward to continuing our world tour with Brex.  Our original 2009 trip plan was Paris and Munich, but it would have been torture to pass up French wine and German beer.  So we went to Switzerland instead.  We hiked the Swiss Alps and had our fair share of pregnancy approved chocolate and cheese. 

A baby full of surprises from conception to birth...

The pregnancy started with a surprise when we found out we were expecting a baby at my routine annual exam. We were thrilled to find out that I was an estimated 6 weeks and 6 days pregnant on 7/17/09. I picked Mike up from work after my doctor appointment and showed him the ultrasound picture...it was worth a thousand words.
The pregnancy ended with a surprise when my water broke and woke me out of a deep sleep on a Sunday morning almost 2 weeks early. Labor started at 6:45AM on 2/14/10 (Valentine's Day) and our beautiful baby boy BREX arrived at 5:31AM on 2/15/10 (President's Day)!
