Miller's Lake House Celebration

We had been looking forward to a return visit to Jim & Karen's lake house for an entire year. We had perfect weather this time and so much fun with family and friends. Jim also put on an awesome firework display to celebrate the 4th of July! This was the last time we will see the "Westlake Millers" before they become the "Tampa Millers" and can't wait to visit them in Florida this winter!!

Independence Day Parade and Last Day of Montessori School

Happy Birthday America! Brex had a 4th of July parade on his last day at Parkview Montessori school. He is going to take July and August off for summer break and spend quality time at the park with Radley.  We will miss his friends and teachers Miss Josie and Miss Beatrice, but look forward to brother time and we're excited for the new chapter at St. Clement School in Sept.

Lil Sluggers

Brex probably won't be the 1st of the Miller or Stacey families to dominate in soccer.  We're taking a break from kicking and are focused on hitting, catching, throwing and running the bases at Lil Sluggers.  He wants to be just like his hero -- cousin Macklin!

And Radley wants to be just like his hero -- big brother Brex!

Brex Art & Music Camp at St. Clement

Brex spent a week at camp at his new school. He spent a few hours working on art and music, then a brown bag lunch in the cafeteria and then a few more hours of get-ready-for-preK.  He had a blast in the classrooms, gym and especially on the rooftop playground.

If your happy summers comin, clap your hands...haaaa-pee, were happy, happy, happy!!

Hallelujah it’s Spring!!!

Two months into Spring and it's finally starting to feel like it in Chicago. We survived the Polar Vortex Winter and the boys want to spend every minute outside.  They definitely deserve it and it helps getting them to the park while we get our place ready for sale.
