Part 3 of 3 - Merry Chicago Christmas!

Santa came to our house when we were away!!! Brex and Radley must have been very good boys this year, because Santa brought tons of gifts and everything the boys wished for. Highlights this year were "sally" the cat and a real Steelers helmet!

Part 2 of 3 - Merry Pittsburgh Christmas

The drive from Cleveland to Pittsburgh was a breeze during nap time and we arrived to Grammy and Pop's house refreshed and ready to open more presents!!! We started a new tradition the next day at the ski slope. Brex took a lesson and zipped down the hill countless times with daddy, Grammy, mommy, Uncle Steve, Maeve and Gwen. Pop's climbed all the way up the hill to get some photos and Radley took turns smiling at Aunt Teri, Uncle John, Aunt Maura and Roan at Boyce Park. 

 

Part 1 of 3 - Merry Christmas in Cleveland

We decided to drive instead of fly for Christmas this year and thankfully, both boys were angels in the car. We were away from home for a full week and spoiled with food, drinks, gifts and a few sleep-ins! Brex raked in a load of Spider Man stuff and Radley got a toy that actually keeps his attention for more than 30 seconds.

Santa was coming to Chicago while we were away, so Brex got in some last minute good behavior by mopping the floor. He even helped 'water' a poor little tree on the side of the road that was looking very thirsty! 

Fun Christmas Eve at Grammy and Pa's house and a successful 1st Christmas Day at Karen and Jim's house.

Brex was really into Christmas this year.  He was a very good boy and he asked Santa for a cat and a Steelers helmet. Radley didn't seem to mind Santa at all. He didn't have his usual smile on his face, but he didn't cry...so we consider that a win! Minimal decorations this year at our house -- as previously mentioned, anything Rad can touch goes into his mouth -- but we managed to make it  a little bit festive.  

Radley 10 months old

Our big 10 month old baby continues to get into everything and put whatever he finds into his mouth. Radley is standing and taking 1 or 2 steps at a time.  He has 2 adorable teeth on the bottom and 4 on the top. Still the happiest and smiliest baby in the world!
