Sushi date nights

When daddy has work commitments on Friday night, mommy and the boys head out for sushi. We've had very well behaved dates 2 Fridays in a row and are starting to become "usuals" at the front table!

Philly!

We had so much fun visiting the Schwalm family in Philly this weekend. Scott, Ali, Brandon and Finley have an awesome new house with tons of space inside and out. There were more than enough toys and activities to keep the boys entertained at home, but we also ventured out to Sesame Street Place and it was the best place Brex has ever been.

Field museum field trip

Brex has been on a few field trips with school this summer and they saved the grand finale for the last one. Mommy chaperoned and Brex's partner was Saina. We all road the yellow bus to the Field Museum. The kids were so excited to see the dinosaurs and they were troopers walking every inch of the museum.

Happy Half Year Radley!

Just like everyone says: time flies, they grow up too fast, etc. I really cannot believe Radley has already been with us for half of a year.  He is such a good baby and the best little brother in the whole world.

Happy Baptism Radley!

We had a fantastic weekend celebrating Radley's entrance into the Catholic church. Almost all of our immediate family was able to make the trip to Chicago for his Baptism at St. Clement. As usual, Radley was the perfect baby before, during and after his dunking in the baptismal font.

Brothers = Best Friends!

It took Brex a few months to fully embrace Radley, but he definitely loves his baby brother. His 1st question when he wakes up or comes home is "where's Radley"?  Brex likes to show Radley everything he is doing, and he's a big help changing diapers, picking pjs and reprimanding if the little guy does something wrong (like accidentally squeeze Brex's ear or pull mommy's hair).  Radley smiles at everyone, but he smiles even BIGGER when he sees Brex.  They are really cute together now and I really hope it lasts...
