Pittsburgh - Christmas in July

We had fun visiting with the whole Stacey family in Pittsburgh this weekend. Brex was showered with attention by his cousins (and grandparents and extended relatives)...needless to say, he was VERY well taken care of!

We went to Idlewild amusement park to see Mother Goose, explore the storybook forest and tell Santa what a good by Brex has been so far this year. It was 90+ degrees, so we didn't even scratch the surface of fun things to do (rides, water park, etc.), but we will definitely be back next year!!

It was HOT and really, what could be better to beat the heat than a refreshing sponge bob square pants Popsicle on the beach?

Summer FUN!

We've waited a long time for this nice weather and now that it's here, Brex is getting out and about to enjoy it.

So much fun at the water park, zoo, beaches and street festivals...

Happy Hair Cut!

Finally caved in and took Brex to get a professional haircut:

We still have some practicing to do with singing the Happy Birthday song, but Brex has become a very big helper when it comes to making cookie cakes and opening presents!

Play Date with Ava & Anna

Another fun visit to the Bluhm's house(s) - the real one and the awesome new play house. The suburbs are growing on us a little bit, especially after the 2 minute walk to the private, all-inclusive Lake Michigan Beach.  It was clean, quiet and pristine...a complete contrast to the city beaches.
