Ava's 1st Birthday Party

The month of birthday party fun continued with a trip to the suburbs for Ava's 1st birthday party.

Toy Story 3 on Ice

We went to Toy Story 3 on ice with the McGraths and it was AWESOME!  This was quite the leap for a baby that doesn't watch TV. We thought Brex's eyes were going to pop out of his head when the live performance started, he was literally fixated on the performance!

You know what they say about an apple a day

After all of the pain and money that mommy has been through with dental work, we can only hope Brex inherited his daddy's teeth.  He is surprisingly cooperative when he gets his teeth brushed and he LOVES apples!

1st haircut

Trapped indoors, we all started to get a little bit stir crazy. We had played with every toy a couple of times (we have A LOT of toys) and it seemed like a good time for Brex's 1st haircut.  I was worried about getting close to his head with scissors so Lilliana kept him occupied and I came from behind to give a few snips.

Blizzard 2011

Brex has seen plenty of snow this winter, but none of us have seen anything like the blizzard of 2011 (and I survived the blizzard of 99).  It looked like the end of the world - thunder, lightening and so much snow blowing sideways. The wind was so strong that drifts were well over 7 feet high and cars were buried. We took a quick trip outside to play and then stayed inside and watched more than 20 inches fall in 24 hours.

Spirits are high in anticipation of the big game coming up on Sunday.  Steelers are superbowl bound and the Stacey boys are PUMPED up!

Brex's 1st Blizzard

The predicted blizzard of 2011 is in full force. Maybe when the snow stops blowing sideways with 50mph winds, Brex will venture outside.  For now, we're all staying safe and warm indoors.
